For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land. Deuteronomy 15:11
One of the ministries of Lighthouse Independent Baptist Church is our Monthly Community Outreach. A time where we as a church can show the love, help, and hope that is found in the Lord Jesus Christ by "opening our hand" to those in need in our community. Anyone seeking a warm meal, emergency food assistance, or clothing may come on the final Saturdays of each month from 12:00 PM through 3:00 PM. During this time, we have a short Chapel Service, a monthly meal prepared by the members and friends of Lighthouse, a time to collect can food goods and clothing (if needed), and a time to just come in out of the cold or heat and have someone to talk to.
Food and clothing may also be recieved before or after any of our scheduled Church Services on Sundays or Wednesdays (all that we ask is that you stay for the Service to be fed spiritually from the teaching and preaching of God's Word!), the third Saturdays of each month during our Ladies' Meeting from 2:30 through 4:00 PM, or by calling the Church Office at (215) 389-2626 and scheduling a time to pick up your needed food and/or clothing.
When coming, please remember to bring: Positive Identification and Proof of Address.
Any questions, feel free to call us at (215) 389-2626.
